Stucco requires breathability, which can be challenging in the Pacific Northwest's climate.

That’s why we use advanced, German and American, permeable paints designed to protect stucco from the elements while allowing it to breathe. These high-performance coatings minimize cracking and provide flexibility, ensuring that natural hairline fractures remain covered as the stucco expands and contracts with seasonal changes.

While the stucco restoration process is relatively straightforward, it requires attention to detail and is very difficult to do well. We begin by thoroughly cleaning the surface, followed by meticulous preparation, patching, and necessary repairs. Depending on the condition of the stucco, repairs can range from minor fracture filling to complete section replacements for optimal results. Once repairs are seamlessly blended to appear invisible, we proceed with painting. To ensure full coverage, we work the permeable paint into every pore and crevice using a combination of spraying and back-rolling techniques. Due to its porosity, dry stucco can absorb up to 300% more paint than standard siding, sometimes requiring up to four coats for proper absorption and protection—though two coats are typically sufficient.

Stucco properties often feature metal roofing, ornamental gates, and decorative fixtures that also require refinishing to achieve a cohesive, refreshed appearance. We offer a variety of specialized coatings, from industrial-grade paints designed to protect against rust to advanced powder-coating solutions. Proper surface preparation is key—our process includes thorough cleaning, priming with high-performance sealers, and applying a durable finish using professional spraying or rolling techniques. The result is a flawless, long-lasting finish that enhances the entire property's aesthetic, often making it look even better than new.
